REAL WEDDINGS

Alice & Alex chose to get married at Merriscourt, a breathtakingly beautiful rustic Cotswolds barn just outside of Chipping Norton. Listed in the UK’S 100 TOP VENUES, it's easy to see why! I love photographing couples like this who are so clearly in love, and at a venue like this it makes my job so rewarding - everywhere you turn there's something else stunning to capture, and I ended up giving Alice & Alex about 100 more photographs than I would usually...! I honestly couldn't narrow it down. I met with the happy pair a couple of days ago to go through their images, and we spent To View More >>

I first met Kirsty and her family at a wedding fair at Heythrop Park, and we soon met up for a coffee to chat about their day and requirements for a photographer. Natural, candid, relaxed images were key, and that suited me perfectly...! I started the day with Kirsty, capturing some lovely moments between her and the bridal party as they started to get ready in the Dressing Room at Caswell. It’s an amazing space with loads of natural light (which makes it a dream to photograph!) and a separate room for the bride to get into her dress in some privacy. Like all of my couples, Laura & Sam were extremely keen to choose a photographer who would capture the day as it happened, and not interfere. We had planned a short amount of time to wander the gardens on the day to take some couple shots, but Laura & Sam decided not to in the end to make the most of their company (some of whom had travelled all the way from Australia!), entertainment and venue - perfect! I always say that "the shots you'll love the most are the ones you weren't aware of" so this suited me perfectly. I knew that we'd already captured some amazing shots of their ceremony To View More >>

Maria & Mickey wanted a natural, relaxed approach to wedding photography, so having met them at a wedding fair at Eynsham Hall, we hit it off straight away! For me, real emotion and relaxed images beat awkward posing all day long. When we talk about taking shots of just the bride and groom, my best piece of advice is always to interact with each other as much as possible. Talk, laugh, tickle, whisper something inappropriate, anything to make you relax! The rest of the day is about catching real moments, and these are shots you'll love the most. Sarah and Gary chose Eynsham Hall as the venue for their stunning wedding day, and what a choice! It's a popular venue amongst couples from Oxfordshire and beyond, and it's easy to see why. Sarah & Gary personalised their day so beautifully, and had a blast from start to finish. The weather was stunning and the company was fantastic - my kind of wedding day! For me, a wedding is all about the people, emotion and little details that make a day unique. By not imposing myself on the day and by allowing Sarah & Gary to be themselves, we captured natural moments that reflect who they are as To View More >>
